All about Light!!

What makes photography a strange invention is that its primary raw materials are light and time.

View from my balcony – In morning versus evening

Sometimes we capture best images when we are not actually looking to capture anything. The above image compare is about the view from my balcony during a winter morning and evening. The morning light was obscured with fog and clouds while the sunset colors highlighted the mountains beautifully.

Sunset colors captured on an evening from beach

This collage is made up of images from archives clicked from a old Samsung mobile phone and so is blurred but holds a special place as I was lucky enough to capture these different sunset shades one evening. In matter of few minutes the colors changed from pink to slight orangish tinge. The comparison captures the beauty of sunset.

Yellow Rose

I would say I was at the right time and at right place to capture the sunlight falling on this yellow rose further enhancing its color and beauty. It feels as if the rose is glowing from within.

In the end, I feel that the light and shadows together bring out the best in any image making it a great picture.
