Many beautiful places surround Pune, starting from forts, museums, waterfalls, and places of religious importance. One such scenic place is Ramdara Temple which is located at Loni kalbor village in outskirts of Pune city. It is devoted to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The temple is more famous for Ram, Sita and Lakshman and hence the name Ramdara.
The temple is well-covered by the green hills and visible only when you reach its entrance arch.Temple surrounded by lake, coconut & palm trees all around and beautiful reflections of the temple in the lake are enough to mesmerize one. Gentle morning breezes added charm.

Along with the coconut trees on the temple premises, there are a variety of trees in the vicinity.

These trees have grown so huge that their branches cover the entire area, giving shade and peace to the people entering the temple.
“When you’re outnumbered by trees, your perspective shifts.”
Jessica Marie Baumgartner
This quote fits perfectly as I felt we look so small in front of these trees which have been standing and growing here patiently for so many years and we still have a long way to go.
