FOTD – Periwinkle – And Miles to go before I sleep…

Sharing today is the flowering plant known as Perwinkle, Vinca or Sadaful in Hindi. Basically an ornamental plant which flowers almost throughout the year.

It is a common garden plant in India and comes in variety of colors – Pink, purple, red, white etc.

There are so many different pictures of flowers and their edits on Instagram. One day while scrolling through came across some edits which I tried using Snapseed, Lighroom and Picsart mobile apps. Here is the result –

I used Snapseed to blur the background and used double exposure tool to focus on the flower. Using Lighroom did some basic edits and added the girl image using Picsart. Girl image is from Pinterest.

It’s an odd thing, happiness. Some people take happiness from gold. Or black pearls. And some of us, far more fortunate, take their happiness from periwinkles.
