These are betel nut trees which grows straight up-to 66ft tall.
The angle at which this picture was clicked gives an illusion of these trees going straight up, to talk with the heavens..
Trees do look beautiful whether straight or crooked!!

I love the angle and the white trunks too. Areca is a commonly found tree in Karnataka. I also spotted them in Meghalaya and it was hard to get them in a frame. Very tall and beautiful.

So those are betelnut trees! I live in temperate climes where they would never grow, and I love the look of trees like this. Dare I call them “exotic”? To me, they are!
