Free India turns 72 today. This day is dedicated to the soldiers at the borders and their families, to the people who are still fighting for their rights and safety.
I remember a recent incident. I had gone to a bank to open an account. While filling out the account opening form, I came across the gender field having 3 options – Male, Female and Transgender. Having an option for transgender people is a freedom in itself. That time I truly realized that India is progressing and adapting to the Changes. Me, being a female, selected female of course ☺.
This is truly one of the Freedom that people want all across the globe.
Everything has changed in these past 72 years but We still get goosebumps whenever we listen to our national anthem – Jana Gana Mana.
