Here is my entry for City Sonnet’s Photo a Day Challenge – Welcome July. Thanks to Cee, I found this photo challenge.
In India, rainy season lasts from June to September. The agriculture of our country mainly depends upon water from rainfall. During this season, the ground water is replenished. The wells, lakes, ponds and reservoirs are filled with rain water.
Rain is very important to the cultivators. The farmers of land sow the seeds or plants as soon the rain makes the fields soft. Good rainfall leads to quick growth of the seeds.
What I mainly love about this season is the greenery. Surrounding areas look full of life as opposed to the dried up land in Summer. Also nearby places become attraction due to small water falls. Treks become popular during monsoon. And which bookworm doesn’t like to sit beside a window during a rainfall and sip hot coffee while reading a good book.☺ Nature plays a perfect muse for creative artists.
Ramya, I love this picture. Why? Because there are so many elements. The green shows that it just rained. The building is all about the upcoming residential area but still, there is open space. And the Sunrays peeking from one corner just adds on! Good one!
