This picture was clicked during Ganesh festival which is celebrated across India. This picture shows devotees waiting to touch and pray to the gorgeous Ganesh idol of Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple,Pune.

Merely calling the Ganesh idol beautiful would not do justice to it.Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati is famous for his elegant and detailed facial features, rather than the idol’s size. The idol is adorned with more than 8 kilos of gold.Not only the idol,but also the temple’s creative art work is beyond imagination.Every year during Ganesh Festival, creative artisans create beautiful historical places of India around the temple.
The jewel of our Pune city, this beloved Ganpati and his Mandir gets a heavy amount of visitors. Adorned with gold and diamonds, this deity is a relief for sore eyes.
